The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection with a Tuesday night shooting. Deputies arrested Joshua Aaron Dominguez on Wednesday afternoon without incident at a residence on Amethyst Lane. Dominguez was wanted in connection with a shooting and burglary that occurred near Amethyst Lane and Buffalo Ridge Road.
When deputies arrived on the scene they discovered a man suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. Joshua Aaron Dominguez was arrested on charges of:
Burglary
Attempted Burglary
Malicious Wounding
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling
Use of Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm
Larceny of a Firearm
