Veronica Jones, 55, was found safe on Wednesday at 2:30 pm by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Jones was reported missing on Tuesday night after she was last seen walking in the 3000 block of Colonial Turnpike in Rocky Mount.

Jones has Alzheimer’s and her disappearance was considered to be a credible threat to her health and safety.
