A suspect has been identified in a fatal shooting at the Danville Mall. The Danville Police Department has identified Christian Isiah Pinckney, 18, as the suspect in the shooting death of Tyshaun Dawshawn King, 26.

The shooting occurred on Saturday night at 7:14 pm inside of Hibbett Sports. At this time police are still searching for Pinckney, who is being charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Maliciously Discharging a Firearm within a public building, Use of a Firearm in the commission of a felony, and Possession of a Firearm after being convicted of a felony.

King was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to the hospital. Anyone who has information on the shooting incident is asked to please contact the Danville Police Department through any platform.
