Former Dan River High School students, Virginia Tech football stars, and recent NFL draft picks, Trey, Terrell, and Tremaine Edmunds want to help the youth in the place they call home. The Gala will raise money for scholarships to support high school athletes as well as the Danville Church & Community Tutorial Program, which provides after-school tutoring and enrichment activities to promote student success.

1 Dream One Team invites the Dan River Region to join them to give back to local youth by providing them with opportunities to succeed in school and in life. At the annual fundraising event, they will celebrate young athletes and youth who are aspiring to do great things in life.

This event will be a fun, elegant evening of dining and entertainment that is not to be missed. There will be live music, a silent auction (with items such as exclusive getaways, excursions, sports memorabilia, and much more), as well as presentations for the local scholarship recipients. They have also excited to announce that our guest speaker is Coach Bud Foster, former Defensive Coordinator at Virginia Tech.
