On Monday night the Halifax County Board of Supervisors gave approval to a 60-lot RV park. According to the Gazette-Virginian, Woods Creek RV Park will be located near South Boston Speedway on Plywood Trail.

The board also approved the 80-megawatt Sedge Hill Solar, LLC. The facility will be located in the Winns Creek area, just north of Halifax. Halifax County is slated to received $500,000 from the company when the project begins construction.

It was not made clear when construction would begin on either project.
