On Tuesday night Danville City Council voted to eliminate curb and gutter requirements in the subdivision ordinance and voted to create a subsection for the streetlight requirement.  The decision comes after studies revealed that curb and gutters are causing debris and pollution. It was also causing issues with street cleaning as well.
