Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has landed some legislative wins during this session of the General Assembly, according to the Associated Press. Among the bills Youngkin has been able to get passed is a measure that will allow licensed or experienced workers to move to Virginia and get straight to work.

He also has been praised for a move that will restore some oversight to regulators who set oversight and rates for Dominion Energy. Youngkin was also able to stop an effort by the state to land a Ford plant in Pittsylvania County because of Chinese communist party influence that has drawn mixed reactions.

According to reports, Youngkin is considering a run for the republican presidential nominee in 2024. A recent poll from Roanoke College, showed that he is still behind Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis in the state as the preferred candidate.
