As part of Virginia’s 90th statewide home and garden tour, Historic Garden Week, Danville will open its doors and garden gates on Thursday.

 This year’s local tour is a perfect snapshot into the slogan “Reimagine That” which embodies the work to preserve the fabric of this city of Southside Virginia and carry the region forward.

 Open to tour this year will be The Bee Hotel, Supply Resources Corporate Apartment, The Vantage Art Flats, Crema and Vine, 247 Main Street and the gardens at 428 Maple Lane. These properties are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and artistry.

 In addition, admission to the Danville Science Center and the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History will be included in the ticket as will a variety of special activities. Gorgeous floral arrangements will accent art and architecture throughout the tour. 

 Tickets to the Danville/Chatham Garden Tour are available at VAGardenWeek.com through April 19. Advance tickets are also available for $25 cash only at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History, Raywood Landscape Center and the Ginger Bread House. Day of tour tickets may be purchased for $35 cash only at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History.
