A Martinsville Police Officer successfully completed running the 127th Boston Marathon on Monday. The department congratulated Officer Alfredo Huerta in a Facebook post yesterday.

Huerta said in an Instagram post that it had been a dream of his to complete the 26.2 mile race since running his first marathon in 2010.
