On Tuesday afternoon Averett’s Center for Community Engagement and Career Competitiveness (CCECC) and Averett Athletics hosted their annual Play to Engage event to bring local students from across the community to engage in an afternoon of play.

The event featured over 170 student athletes from Averett. The student athletes introduced area children to the different sports that are offered at Averett.

Each child that attended was paired up with a student athlete that went with them to different stations at Daly Field on Averett’s North Campus. Each kid was able to test their skills in Football, Cheerleading, Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer, E-Sports, and much more.
