The Danville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire with an entrapment in the 1400 block of Aspen St. Upon arrival at 1328 Aspen St., crews found a single story, single family residence with heavy fire.

Crews made entry and searched the structure and determined that the house was vacant. Crews also  began to extinguish the fire that had extended throughout the structure.

Fire and smoke damage to the structure was extensive. The structure was determined to be vacant at the time of the fire. The Danville Fire Department responded with three engines, one Ladder truck, a safety officer and two chief officers. The cause of he fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshalls office. No injuries were reported at this incident.
