Two parties in Martinsville were ended Sunday morning by gunfire. The two shootings appear to be unrelated.

According to the Martinsville Bulleting, the first shooting occurred in the 1200 block of Mountain Road. The second occurred a short time later near Sunset Avenue and Red Oak Street.

Both parties were mostly attended by juveniles and authorities have arrested 18-year-old Christopher Wade, of Danville, for concealing a weapon. At this time no injuries have been reported and the investigation is ongoing.
