The Climax Volunteer Fire Department and Gretna Fire & Rescue rescued a kitten at a local high school on Tuesday. According to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page the kitten was trapped in a storm drain at Gretna High School.
The department was made aware of the kitten being trapped by Coach Orrell while walking the track. The kitten was named “Deuce” and after being fed he was taken to the Pittsylvania County Pet Center.
