Gas prices have dropped slightly this week across the country and in Virginia. The average price in Virginia is down three cents from last week to $3.31 a gallon, while the average across the country is down two cents to $3.55.
Prices are also mostly down across the southside. In Danville the price dropped a penny to $3.14, while in Pittsylvania County rose one cent to $3.26 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville is down a nickel to $3.17 and in Henry County the price stayed the same at $3.22. In Halifax County the average price is down three cents to $3.18 a gallon.
