The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a floor advisory for parts of the southside. The advisory is for portions of north central North Carolina and south central Virginia, including Danville, Pittsylvania County, and Caswell County.

The advisory is in effect until 10:15 am. Possible hazards include minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
