The housing division of the City of Danville’s Community Development Department will hold an open house that will give low-income residents of Danville an opportunity to purchase a house in the historic Camp Grove neighborhood. The event will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday, June 23, and from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 24.

The house is a 1,720-square-foot, newly built, three-bedroom, two-bath dwelling located at 324 Bradley Road. It is being offered to low-income buyers through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Home Investment Partnership Program.

“We’re thrilled to provide this new single-family housing opportunity in the Bradley Road corridor,” says Diane Pagen, Housing Grant and Environmental Review Specialist for the City’s Community Development department. “We hope, after the success of this project, that the City will be able to construct additional homes.”
