The average price of Gas in Virginia climbed six cents again this week up to $3.41 a gallon. According to AAA, the average price in Virginia is 15 cents cheaper than the national average of $3.56.

Prices across the southside also continued to climb this week as the average price in Danville is up 11 cents to $3.23 a gallon, while in Pittsylvania County the average price rose seven cents to $3.32.

The average price in Martinsville is up 13 cents to $3.32 and the average in Henry County climbed six cents to $3.27. Halifax County saw the largest increase in price, up 18 cents to $3.40 a gallon.
