The average price of gas in Virginia jumped 22 cents this week to $3.64 a gallon, while the average price across the country climbed 21 cents to $3.80. Average prices across the southside are also up.
In Danville the average price mirrored the national jump as it went up 22 cents to $3.45 a gallon. In Pittsylvania County the average price is up 23 cents to $3.56. The average prices in Halifax County had the smallest increase as it went up eight cents to $3.54 a gallon.
Henry County had the highest jump in average price as they went up 24 cents to $3.52 a gallon, while in Martinsville the average is up 21 cents to $3.48.
