The Danville Police Department has identified a bank robbery suspect. The department is asking for the public’s help in locating Jimmy Nathaniel Brown, 61, of Yanceyville, NC in reference to the July 20 robbery of Carter Bank and Trust on South Main Street. Investigators with the Danville Police Department have obtained warrants for Brown, charging him with:
- Robbery
- Threats to bomb or damage a building
- Grand larceny
Brown is also wanted for another robbery on July 24 in Burlington, NC. A second suspect, 36-year-old Kristian Baldwin of Yanceyville was arrested for her role in the second robbery on Friday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
This has been an active investigation with the Danville Police Department working with multiple agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Burlington Police Department, and the Caswell County Sheriff’s Department to identify and make efforts to locate Brown, who has yet to be located.
