A 20-year-old Danville man has been sentenced to 48 years in prison for a shooting death that occurred in 2022. Marte Oliver received a 100 year sentence with 52 years suspended for second degree murder in the death of Patrick Duffy, 33.

Duffy was found shot to death in an apartment at 308 Halifax St. on August 16, 2022.
