The Danville Police Department has arrested a Yanceyville man that was wanted for bank robbery. On Saturday morning, the department reported that 61-year-old Jimmy Nathaniel Brown was arrested overnight in North Carolina.

Brown will be extradited back to Virginia. He has been charged with robbery, threats to bomb or damage a building, and grand larceny.

Brown was wanted for the robbery at Carter Bank and Trust on South Main Street in Danville on July 20. He was also wanted for another bank robbery in Burlington, NC on July 24.
