Caesars Virginia in Danville brought in over $21.4 million in revenue during the month of July, according to a release from the Virginia Lottery. The casino made just under $15.9 million in slots and over $5.5 million from table games.
The $21.4 million for the month of July is an increase of nearly $2.5 million from the month of June for the casino. The City of Danville will collect just under $1.3 million in taxes from the revenue. Since opening on May 15 the casino has brought in over $52 million.
Caesars Virginia was in second again in revenue for the three casinos in Virginia, just behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth, which brought in over $22.3 million. Hard Rock Bristol made over $13.5 million. During July, gaming revenues from Virginia casinos totaled $57.3 million.
