Four Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies have had their employment terminated following an investigation by Virginia State Police for use of force incident at the Henry County Detention Center.

According to BTW 21, the incident has been sent to a special prosecutor to determine if there will be criminal charges. The investigation revealed that all four deputies violated multiple policies.

Sheriff Wayne Davis held a press conference on July following the incident and announced that the four deputies had been suspended without pay.
