A Danville man has been sentenced to over eight years in prison on child porn charges. 46-year-old William Allen Wolf was sentenced to eight and a half years in federal prison after pleading guilty in November to possession with intent to view a visual depiction of a minor under 12 years of age engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

The announcement came on Monday from the Department of Justice. Wolf was charged for using Kik Messenger, to distribute images of child sexual abuse with an undercover law enforcement officer.

According to authorities, Wolf sent the officer a video with an adult male engaging in sexual activity with a prepubescent female in December of 2021.
