Danville Police Chief Scott Booth has been named a finalist for the Police Chief job in Roanoke. Booth will participate in a meet-and-greet with citizens in Roanoke on Wednesday at 6 pm at the Berglund Center.

During his time in Danville Booth has led the department in reducing all violent crime by 50% and a 35-year low in all crime in 2020. Earlier this year Booth was named a finalist for the Police Chief job in Winston-Salem, NC.
