The average price of gas across Virginia dropped by a penny this week to $3.57 a gallon, while the national average climbed three cents to $3.84.

According to AAA, the average price in Danville remained the same at $3.40, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by a penny to $3.45. Prices in Henry County dropped by three cents $3.46 and the average in Martinsville is up by one cent $3.46.

Prices in Halifax County dropped by a penny to $3.52 a gallon.
