The Danville Fire Department responded to a fire at Loyal Baptist Church on Friday afternoon. According to River City TV, the fire started this afternoon at around 3:45 pm.

When units arrived on scene they saw smoke showing from the roof. The department had the fire under control in less than an hour. The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
