Average gas prices across Virginia dropped by a nickel this week to $3.52 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country dropped by three cents to $3.81.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by six cents to $3.31, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by eight cents to $3.43. In Martinsville the average price climbed three cents to $3.48 and in Henry County the average is down two cents to $3.45.

Average prices in Halifax County are down by five cents to $3.50 a gallon.
