Tonight the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors will vote on the new proposal from VDOT for improvements at the Tightsqueeze intersection.

According to VDOT, this design would add a left turn lane on Tight Squeeze Rd. and a right turn lane on Fairview Road at Route 29. There would also be a raised median to prevent certain movements and conflict points in the intersection.

The new plan was presented as an alternative to the previously rejected R-cut design.

The meeting will take place tonight at 7pm at the Board Meeting Room at 39 Bank Street in Chatham.
