Reidsville Police Investigators have obtained warrants for a man in connection to a shooting. 39-year-old James Dwight McDaniel Jr., of Reidsville, is wanted for charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injuries, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

McDaniel Jr. is wanted for a shooting at 5:50 am in the 800 block of Barnes Street regarding a gunshot victim. Officers located Timothy Ray Kuchinski suffering from a gunshot wound. Kuchinski was transported to a local hospital.

The whereabouts of McDaniel Jr. are unknown. Police are requesting that anyone with information contact the department at 336-347-2343.
