The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bomb threat at Fieldale-Collinsville Middle School. Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis told BTW 21 that the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center received a call from what sounded like a juvenile that said “I have a bomb.”

The caller didn’t disclose where the bomb was, but through 911 technology deputies were able to determine the general area that the call came from. Students were in the process of dismissing when the call came in and the building was evacuated.

Within minutes of the call over 20 deputies responded to the school. The building is still being searched.
