One person was killed after a tractor trailer crashed and caught fire near Ridgeway on Monday afternoon. According to BTW 21, the fire was reported at around 4 pm on Greensboro Road near the North Carolina border.

When crews arrived on scene the tractor trailer was engulfed in flames. The fire also appeared to catch a trailer on fire. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
