One person was injured and two vehicles were struck by bullets during a Monday night shooting in South Boston. The shooting occurred around 9 pm in the 800 block of Easley Street.
When police arrived on scene they found a man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was airlifted a Richmond hospital.
According to a news release from the South Boston Police Department, officers discovered around 20 pistol cartridge casings at the scene and multiple bullet holes in the house. Two vehicles were also hit by gunfire during the shooting.
