It’s that special time once again where we announce our WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month. Today’s nominator wishes to remain anonymous.

Our Citizen of the Month is Dr. Betty Jo Foster.

I am writing to nominate Dr. Betty Jo Foster of Ringgold as your Citizen of the Month. Betty Jo is well known in Danville and surrounding areas.  She retired from a very successful career at Danville Community College having served as professor and Vice-President of Academic Affairs.  She has served as interim President of both Danville Community College and Central Virginia Community College, as well as interim President of The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, and the Danville-Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce.  She is involved in numerous civic organizations and freely gives of her time to make Danville and Pittsylvania County a better place to live, work, and raise a family.  She demonstrates the qualities necessary to be named Citizen of the Month.

We totally agree!! There’s absolutely no doubt what Betty Jo has accomplished and is accomplishing for Danville and surrounding area…so richly deserving! So without further a do, we proudly announce

Dr. Betty Jo Foster as our WBTM/Danville Dental Associates Citizen of the Month
