One person was killed in a trailer fire on Thursday in Collinsville. According to the Henry County Department of Public Safety, fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire on Conestoga Court at around 10:30 pm.

When crews arrived on scene they found a single wide trailer on fire. While crews were battling the fire they discovered a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the person has not been released at this time as next of  kin is still being notified. The body was sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
