Just before 2am Tuesday the Danville Fire Department responded to a structure fire call at 136 Baskerville Court.

First responders upon arrival found an HVAC unit on fire and the blaze spreading to other areas of the building.  Crews confirmed all of the homes occupants were out of the building and accounted for.

The fire was brought under control swiftly and none of the fire had spread inside the structure.  The apartments occupants as well as two guests were displaced by the blaze.

The Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
