Two Danville men have been arrested on several child porn charges. 28-year-old Dylan Timothy Hardy, of 128 Pendleton Road, has been charged with one count of distribution/manufacture of child pornography and 35 counts of possession of child pornography.

Hardy was taken into custody on January 4 after an investigation discovered several images of children participating in sexual acts on his cellphone.  According to the Danville Register & Bee, Hardy said he kept the files “in a separate folder for later dissemination on social media.”

Hardy will appear in Danville General District Court on February 13 at 11:15 am.

The department has also arrested 18-year-old James Michael Andrew Richardson on 39 counts of possession of child pornography. A third suspect also currently has charges pending.

The images related to these investigations were digital in nature, and there is no indication of physical contact or involvement with any local children.
