Revenue at the Danville Casino climbed for the second month in a row. The casino brought in over $19.7 million in December up over $2 million from November, according to the casino activity report from the Virginia Lottery.
The Danville Casino made just under $14.3 million on slots and over $5.4 million on table games.
Among the three casinos in Virginia, Caesars Virginia remained second in revenue behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth at over $23.8 million and ahead of Hard Rock Bristol at just under $15 million.
Since the Danville Casino opened on May 15, the venue has brought in around $145 million. This week Caesars Virginia will hold a topping off ceremony for the new hotel and casino in Danville.
The casino’s resort will include 500 rooms with amenities like a spa, a pool and a fitness center. The casino will have 1,400 games. The casino will also employ around 1,300 people.
The topping off ceremony will be held on Thursday January 18 at 1 pm.
