Virginia State Police are continuing to search for a missing individual who was last seen January 9, 2024, in Mecklenburg County. 

William “Butch” Bateman, 61, was last seen in the area near Tanglewood County Club at Lake Gaston while driving a golf cart. 

Bateman was wearing blue jeans, a camouflage coat, and tan “Hey Dude” shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call Virginia State Police at 540-444-7778.
