An  arson investigation is underway in Martinsville after a fire early Wednesday morning damaged two homes. According to WFXR, the call came in just after midnight for a house fire in the 1200 block of Hickory Street.

The house was vacant during the fire and is considered a total loss. There were no injuries during the fire.

The house next door also suffered minor damages. The fire is under investigationg and details are limited at this time.
