An armed robbery in Roxboro Monday night left a store clerk shot and injured. Police responded to a reported gunshot wound around 9 pm at Cash Store, located at 416 Chub Lake Street.

When police arrived, they found the store clerk with a single gunshot wound to the arm. The clerk was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

According to police, this is the second robbery at the same store in the past two days. The first was an attempted robbery with no shots or property stolen. Investigators have information and investigative leads in these cases, but are still asking for the public’s help in identifying persons of interest.
