Average gas prices across Virginia increased slightly this week up two cents to $3.21 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up by nine cents to $3.35 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by three cents to $3.06, while the average price in Pittsylvania County dropped by a penny to $3.14 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price remained the same at $3.09 and in Henry County the average price is up a penny to $3.11. Prices also dipped in Halifax County by a penny to $3.26 a gallon.
