A man charged with a Danville murder was found guilty in court on Tuesday. 35-year-old Omar Chandler has been found guilty for the murder of 38-year-old Randy Womack on May 14, 2023.

Chandler has been found guilty of first degree murder possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use of a firearm in the commission of murder.

Danville Police responded at 11 pm on May 14 and found Womack with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to S0vah Health-Danville where he was pronounced dead.

Chandler will face a possible life in prison sentence.
