Average gas prices across Virginia jumped 13 cents to $3.37 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up by seven cents to $3.46 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by 11 cents to $3.23, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is up by twp cents to $3.25 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price climbed by 15 cents to $3.33 and in Henry County the average price is up by 10 cents to $3.33. Prices in Halifax County jumped by 14 cents to $3.37 a gallon.
