The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is launching an initiative to combat the opioid crisis, specifically fentanyl.

• In 2023, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office responded to 97 overdose calls for service
• During the first quarter in 2024 the Sheriff’s Office has responded to 28 overdoses.

In response to this crisis, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office wants your help to identify, arrest and prosecute those who are distributing illegal drugs in our communities.  If you have any information, please call the Safe Communities hotline at 434-770-3358.  You may be eligible for a reward, and you can remain anonymous.
