Average gas prices across Virginia increased by two cents to $3.45 a gallon this week, while the average price of gas across the country is up six cents $3.59 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is up a penny to $3.26, while the average price in Pittsylvania County remained the same at $3.34 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average dropped by two cents to $3.30 and in Henry County the average price is down by one cent to $3.34. Prices in Halifax County are up by 6 cents to $3.47 a gallon.
