The ground search for a missing Henry County man has been suspended. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office suspended the search for 79-year-old Kenneth Turner after consulting with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.

The investigation will continue and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office did receive some leads in the case. Turner has been missing since Friday.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to locate a missing man. 79-year-old Kenneth Wayne Turner was last seen on Friday by family members at his residence on Massie Drive in Fieldale.

Turner was reported missing on Saturday after he didn’t return home.

Turner is 6’4 and 240 pounds. He has gray hair and was last seen wearing navy blue sweatpants.

The Henry County Department of Public Safety, Virginia State Police, and Virginia D.W.R. Conservation Police are also assisting the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in trying to find Turner.

Anyone who sees Turner or has any information on his location is asked to call 911 or the Martinsville-Henry County Communications Center at 276-638-8751.
