Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality.  The crash occurred Thursday at 4:36 pm on Fairystone Park Highway, just south of Woody Circle in Henry County.

A 2003 Dodge Neon was traveling on Fairystone Park Highway, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

A passenger in the Dodge was identified as Kristina Rouse Janey, 41, of Fieldale. Janey was not wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
