Average gas prices across Virginia dropped slightly this week down by three cents to $3.48 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by two cents to $3.65 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville remained the same at $3.37, while the average price in Pittsylvania County dropped by four cents to $3.37 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by four cents to $3.24 and in Henry County the average price is up by one cents to $3.32. Prices in Halifax County dropped by seven cents to $3.44 a gallon.
