An Eden man has been arrested on multiple charges including sexual exploitation of a minor. On Tuesday, April 23, a Search Warrant was executed at 365 Anderson Rd in Eden by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of members of the Invictus Task Force under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

This Search Warrant was a result of information obtained by an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation where photographs and other materials were being downloaded depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Jonathan Andrew Shive, 58, was charged with Secret Peeping, Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and Indecent Liberties with a Minor.

Shive was placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $100,000 secured bond. The investigation is ongoing.
